    Well now. How many other poor bastards besides me have to flippin' WORK this fine Thanksgiving morning? On a much less joyous note, one of my young Einstiens decided to mess with the timer that handles to outdoor lighting. Parking lot lights didn't come on until 2 hours AFTER dark last night. Apparently I need to conduct a class on how to tell time.

    I get to leave around 11-ish. Then drive almost 2 hours to my daughter's house, eat dinner (literally the minute I walk in the door. Then we leave almost immediately because they're headed to her inlaws. Then I get to drive back home.

    Being the kind and thoughtful boss that I am, most of my employees have today off. I'm taking TOMORROW off, in conjunction with my normal Saturday off.

    Up side? There was practically no traffic out this morning at 0400.

    My wife just called....She was woke up by noise out back, and our dog barking.... What she found was nothing short of incredible!

    5 years ago, on Thanksgiving, our garage was broken into. The ONLY thing missing was a Schwinn Stingray bike I got for Christmas when I was 12 years old. (1969) I was bummed.

    When Sandy turned on the lights and looked on the back porch, there sat the bike, along with an apology letter from the kid who took it. He's had it hanging on the wall in his bedroom since taking it. He said his conscience wouldn't allow him to keep it any longer. He even gave me his phone number. Gonna call him later. May just give him the bike for being that upstanding.
