with the 4.5 backspacing, the tires will stick out a little more, but there will be less of a chance of rubbing on the uca's. im honestly not sure if you will have to use spacers with the 5.7 backspacing.

I have 4.5" backspacing on a 8" wide rim and it works. I think you'll have rubbing issues with the 5.7". Pretty sure that's the Chevy spec.

Also, I've known the bolt pattern to be 6x5.5. Not sure how that compares to 6x139.7.

i have changed the order to a 4.5" backspace and it's coming monday...i been reading alot on this forum but have not seen any body running a 275/65/18 on a 18x9 wheel...on all the threads that i read on 285"s there is some or minimal cutting involved that's why i went and got 275 to experiment...this will be a learning experience for everybody including myself and people who want's to go this route...i will fit this set-up without lifting the truck first and take pictures and see if there is any issues of rubbing and i will be posting a report...i already have a lift kit with toytec lift and will be posting with that too...thanks to all!!!
