Yeah, I could easily clear the 295/70-17 on my truck since they are .6" smaller in diameter than the 285/75.

LOL! I’m going through the same thing.

If you are going to buy tires make sure you look at BFG KM3s before you purchase anything. I’m currently on Nitto RGs and I’m really tempted to get KM3s.

Tempting to become my DD tires. I want to save my MTR's tread for wheeling trips!

    That's what I did. Going from 285/75-17 Ridge Grapplers to 35x12.50-17 KM3.

My only concern is the road noise. I’m no mall crawler but I still do like some creature comforts.

Everybody was always saying the Ridge Grapplers were so quiet but they definitely have a noticeable hum on my truck. I've heard that the KM3 are very quiet for a mud tire so I guess I will soon find out. Also heard the Yokohama Geolander MT G003 are quiet... almost bought those. Looked at the General Grabber X3 too... Decided the KM3 looked the best. Since I'm a mall crawler, looks are important.

I've ran Nitto RGs in 285, and 295. Also ran 35x12.50 KM3. There is a noticeable difference in volume when I moved up to the KM3s but they are great for a mud tire. Look amazing in 35x12.5 also. Worth the little extra noise.

I’m about to order these. Does anyone know what the difference between these and the more expensive ones are? I know they have a higher load capacity but is that it? Would these be okay for our trucks?
