This is out near Big Bend National Park, near Terlingua and actually in Study Butte at our friends who have 400 acres here. You can’t tell from the image but the house is on a bluff, about 1,000 feet above Terlingua creek. Awesome sunrises, amazing sunsets.....sky is a ever changing canvas throughout the day. Night sky will knock your socks off. You can even see orbiting satellites with the naked eye. Fresh, dry air, very, very few people.
We come out here each Thanksgiving to visit, de-compress from city slicker life. :)

Going through the garage and found some 3rd gen Taco stuff laying around. Any DFW dudes or dudettes want the stuff below? Free.99 or a six pack of your choosing if you're feeling generous.

    Cool!
We go through Sanderson typically on our way out from Houston via 90. We stop in Del Rio for the night just to break up the drive. From Del Rio on there is like nobody out there, some west Texas hills, mesas, valleys, and some curvy, scenic roadway. I like it better than taking I-10.

Same. Ate a traditional Thanksgiving meal with my mom and family around 1 and then I just finished cooking a giant roast and potatoes in the crock pot for dinner at my house. Leftovers should make some badass tacos tomorrow.

In honor of you Maner [cough, it was the only place open at 7:30 PM after leaving the nursing home, cough] we had dinner at a local place.

But as soon as I saw it was open I immediately thought of you!
