Hello, recently I have been looking for my first vehicle to buy and I have decided to go with a Taco!! I'm 18 and still saving up to buy one I really can't just go out, and buy a new 2018 Tacoma sadly. I'm looking at 2012 and blow of that year. But I'm looking at getting a TRD trim taco. any suggestion of year I should buy would be greatful!

Just about every reputable auto magazine has beat the 3rd gen to death. There are a lot of problems with them. (Engine, Transmission and a bunch of other little things) Cosumer Reports even gave it the title of worst truck on the market in 16 or 17.

I'm on the fence on getting a 2nd gen and making my 1st gen a dedicated camping/off road truck... I would not even consider buying a 3rd gen.
