    *****SOLD*****

    SofTopper for 1st or 2nd gen short bed. In like new condition and less than 1 year old. It’s been installed for a total of maybe 3 weeks. The rest of the time it’s been in my garage. It has no flaws. Needs the dust knocked off it. Comes with 1st and 2nd gen bed clamps, all hardware and a new bottle of seam sealer. I haven’t sealed it as it has no leaks as it is. Was bought new December of last year. Located in Ellis Co., Texas but I’ll be driving to Hidden Falls tomorrow (11/23) and can deliver anywhere along the way. $500 shipped or $400 local. I had to change the shipped price from $450 to $500 due to it costing $86 to ship plus $15 for packing to pretty much anywhere in the lower 48. Thanks.

    I’m working on the shipping aspect. I have to build a box for it and then run it by USPS, FedEx and UPS. The online quotes are coming in around $85, which is ridiculous. The top isn’t heavy, it’s the fact the box has to be 5 feet long. The shipping companies now use “dimensional” weight as opposed to the actual weight, which is BS but it is what it is. Hopefully when I take the actual boxed item to a location, the shipping will be much lower. I have a few people in line for shipping that I’ll let them know tomorrow once I get it figured out.

    FYI: It ended up being $128 for UPS to box it & ship it. They gave me a 10% discount because their quote went from $86 to $128 after they boxed it up. They put it in a golf bag box then had to put a box over the end because the golf box wasn't long enough. Boggles my mind they get this kind of coin for shipping one damn box but not much we can do about it!
