First mod to the taco

finally did the first mod to the tacoma. Something simple but window tint always makes a big difference

This is the first thing I do to any new car or truck.

Always gotta have the tint what percent did you get?

 

I got limo all in the back and the front 2 I got one shade under limo. Living in Tijuana the cops here like to mess with you when you have super dark tint. Let’s hope they don’t give me to much trouble

Looks good. I had super dark years ago. I would just roll down the window if a cop was looking too hard. They just want to know nothing shady is going on.

Not sure how to word this but, why the super dark tint? I like the factory tint in the back windows of my DC, but like the clear up front. My reasons are primarily visibility. Its dark now (winter) from 4:00 PM to 6:30 AM in the northern states and when it rains you cannot see jack. I like being able to see. Not being critical by any means, just curious.

As soon as the sales dude told me they had my truck, I made an appointment to get the front windows tinted. Found out the dealership he got the truck from had already tinted them Florida legal.

Left the fronts alone, but had 20% put on all the back ones a few days ago.

Congrats on the new truck and first mod!.

 

Please let this be an actual new color.

 

I had a '14 Trail Teams Ultimate Edition for a while. Everyone on the FJ Forum called it "Cadaver Blue" LOL
