heh, that's a good start. based on your picture I'm thinking the fridge/slide combo i'm looking at would fit pretty perfectly on the platform I built, but it'll be pretty close, so if you get a chance to get a ruler or tape measure out there, a more exact measurement would be much appreciated!

If your iPhone has the latest update there’s a (somewhat crappy/buggy) Measure app they automatically loaded to iOS.. at least on my 8? It has a level and a point-to-Point style ruler type thing. As I said it’s buggy but works better than nothing in a pinch if you don’t need something 100% exact!

Edit: rough example from my desk haha

With all my gear it’s no problem but i wouldn’t add much more. I Just got back from living out of mine for 12 days and I think I actually brought too much (since it is so cold I had a lot of cold weather gear/ boots) no problems but as I mentioned I removed the factory spare. Before that it was a touch rear heavy. No Wilco or Tire off the back it would be more than good. Those heavy steel bumpers people are so found of are likely the biggest factor. Going to rib plate bumpers go heavier. I’ll prob lighten up more and sell my Hitchgate Max (was on my old truck holding up a 37”) because i don’t need it for my 33’s I can go smaller.

Fun fact, the second gen rear bumper and hitch weighs 90lbs. The pelfreybilt bumper without swingout weighs 85lbs, with the swingout it’s 140lbs. It’s possible to actually lose weight off the rear with an aftermarket bumper if you go with aluminum.

Can anyone recommend things I should do while my GFC is being produced? I have upgraded rear suspension to support the bedrack and RTT i have now and thats been working great. What are some other things I should plan to do or just straight up do to get prepared for my gfc?

    Drifter....ARRIVED!
We have a drifter on order (interloper I know). We are putting in rago fab bed stiffeners (total chaos, ath also make them) and installed kb voodoo rail caps. We are upgrading our tires and adding a dual battery as we got camper lights/fan. We'll do suspension after the camper is installed.

    @Double Down Here’s the breakdown:

Ready for production - means the shop has all the details they need to start the build.

In production - the shop has started cutting material.

Components produced - the space frame and panels have been built and sent to powder coating.

In Assembly - the frame is back from powder and has been put on an assembly cart. People are now putting all the pieces together.

Complete - the camper has beeen built and inspected.

Ready to Ship - the camper is done and we have the details we need to ship/deliver/install it.

Shipped - it’s out for delivery or installed.

I am thinking of getting a prinsu cab rack. But I need to know how much the GFC overhangs on the cab. I have a double cab long bed and I want a small cab rack at the front of my truck. Can someone measure the distance from the overhang to the front of the cab?

So, I apologize in advance if my post is off-topic, but being that I couldn't find any GFC gallery thread, I thought I'd ask for your input on exterior color. Forgive my amateur photoshop skills, but please help me decide on color. I personally don't like the black on MGM, but would appreciate your feedback.

Also, if anyone has a GFC equipped MGM long bed, please direct me to him/her. Thanks!

I much prefer the black on my MGM OR DC LB. I have more pictures elsewhere but it has been a long day: https://www.instagram.com/p/BpqNNNVF5Ps/

If you didn’t change wheels so much I’d say match it to the SCS Bronze  haha I personally think the black looks great on MGM though so I’m no help!
