Viper 4105v turns engine off

    Yes, starters are meant to start the vehicle. But like anything else that's mechanical, they inevitably wear out. I'm not complaining about having to press a button more than once - my concern was if there was something wrong with my module as I've never seen any remote start system turn the vehicle off upon opening the door and the increase usage of a starter motor.

    Sitting on the seats wears, opening the doors wears the hinges, closing the doors wears latch, rolling down window wears the switch, rolling down the window wears the motor, rolling down the window wears the rollers, beeping the horn wears the horn relay, starting the truck wears the battery, using the headlamps wears the bulbs, more???

    Driving the truck wears the wheel bearings, u joints, gears, filling with gas wears the door hinge, turning corners wears the tie rods, putting it in gear wears the solenoid, get the picture??

    Using the wipers wears the wiper motor, using the wipers wears the windshield, using the steering wheel wears the leather cover, using the heaters wears the blower motor, using the ac wears the compressor, using the brakes wears the rotors, using the brakes wears the drums, using the radio wears the speakers, parking in the sun wears the paint, parking in the sun wears the tires, using the 4x4 wears the transfer solenoid, using the truck wears the value, using the wiper fluid wears the fluid pump, using the blinkers wears the switch, using the fan wears the cabin filter, ok you win it's just foolish that the engine shuts off when you open the door using remote start

    I should say all Toyotas, but I've seen it on other manufacturers (BMW and Benz). It has to do with take-over encryption, but you go ahead and figure out how to bypass a Toyota.
