Went camping this afternoon. I say this afternoon, because we got there around 2 and bailed at 8. Had a sweet thanksgiving feast with friends, but for the fucking life of us we couldn’t get that fire raging like we wanted. Tried everything we could, but it wasn’t working. I think the wood was too green. So we left because my ass was cold! Only an hour away and my bed was calling my name.

Well, I said I was going to be good after doing my lift............so much for that.

In the last two days I've bought all reinforced aluminum Mobtown skids for the entire belly of the Taco. The T Case skid is used, from Jerry but in great shape. The other two I took advantage of the Black Friday deal. All three are just 77 lbs.

I never plan on going nuts in rock gardens but wanted something without adding a lot of weight.

I need to paint or coat them. I couldn't see paying for powder coat just to scratch them up. I want touch-ups to be easy.

I had it, but we were out there camping for the sole purpose of camping once dinner was done. There were no other activities we were there to do. The fire was lame so rather than bundle up or go hangout in the tent, we just said fuck it and went home so we could sleep in a warm bed. I’m glad we did because I slept like a rock last night.

Saw that in my subscriptions but haven’t watched it yet! I’ve tried Rennes hill twice since then. Both times locked and dry, and couldn’t get very far at all. The hill just isn’t driveable anymore, but of course I’m down to try it in the snow anyways lol
