I guess it never dawned on me til now that yesterday, Thanksgiving day 2018, was Nov. 22. 55 years ago yesterday I was sitting in Mrs. Carvers' 5th grade class when the principal, Mr. Thomas, quietly knocked on the door and told us the president had been shot. A short time later he returned and told us the president was dead.

Not really sure why I'm posting this, it just seemed like I shouldn't let the day go by without some mention of it's significance.

Maybe I missed it but what is the name of the book?
Speaking of the internet...the other day I ordered some books and a CD from Amazon and three hours later it was delivered to my house. How does that even work?:notsure:

Had a visit from our old neighbors tonight. They moved to Tennessee this past year. They are in Wisconsin for deer hunting. It was real good to see them. They will be back up here for xmas, already made plans to go out for dinner.

    Evening Everyone !! :hattip:

Just got back home from my Brothers Condo in Huntington Beach , took me just under 1.5hrs and traffic was still ugly . Found out there was a 10 car crash on NB 1-15 in the Cajon pass and this why earlier I waited until later to head home

I brought home a lg care package of left over food including home made Cranberry bread and Pumpkin Spice bread

Here's another pic of my Brothers place in Huntington Beach . Theres alot of Sting Ray's and small fish in the inlet
