    Well, I said I was going to be good after doing my lift............so much for that.

    In the last two days I've bought all reinforced aluminum Mobtown skids for the entire belly of the Taco. The T Case skid is used but in great shape. The other two I took advantage of the Black Friday deal. All three are just 77 lbs.

    I never plan on going nuts in rock gardens but wanted something without adding a lot of weight.

    I need to paint or coat them. I couldn't see paying for powder coat just to scratch them up. I want touch-ups to be easy.

    I have Pelfrybilt (dreaded words) full aluminum skids. I've pounded on them. Not one single bend or dent so far. Yes to the lack of excessive weight.

    Leave 'em bare aluminum. They will tone down after some "weathering". No need for paint, nor touching up of paint later....
