The wife says the same thing!

Funny you should ask My Friend!

    Here's what I'm into today:

Since we didn't get to cook turkey on Thanksgiving, I'm doing it today. Picked up a 25.5 lb bird yesterday at a great price. Last fresh turkey they had.

    Sucker is freakin' huge!

    3 hours later:

I'm also prepping the Trinity for the stuffing (also a little holiday lubrication for me :D):

Pork sausage from a local place that's been in business for nearly 100 years, the bag-o-innards, and some extra gizzards and hearts, onion, celery and craisens (dried cranberry raisins, added later not in the pic, pecans will be added too at the end)

    Rob Lube:

Local excellent egg nog, Angles Envy Bourbon floater, then stirred with fresh nutmeg

How the mix looks now after simmering with the first and last part that went over the fence:

Of course since this is Maryland, after two Bourbon lubes, I am switching it up to a local Whiskey, named after the famous farm that has bred true legends.

Ok back to writing my Auxbeam Light Bar(s) review. Only 3-4 more hours for the turkey. I want to be done and toasty by then. :drunk:

I’m not a fan for reasons I’ll keep to myself. If you’re curious I can tell you in PM.

Well, we spent time with my mom at the nursing home on turkey day and because of work there was no time to do this before. So I will cook the turkey today, then cook everything else tomorrow (stuffing, succotash, sweet potatoes, baked (nuked) whole mini multi colored potatoes, and of course cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie). We really enjoy eating leftovers so it's actually a treat cooking for 20 even though it's just us two. I can eat turkey leftovers all week and sandwiches for lunch at work every day. One of my faves is to put the turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce all on a sandwich.

We're simple folks and don't need to be formal or follow traditions all that closely.

If the difference is only $200 then I would hold off on the Alcan pack. The price difference is minimal and the work to replace would be the same. Plus if you sell your current set up for $100 then you would have offset the cost even more.

What type of life, inches, are you expecting from the Alcan? Will you need to upgrade your rear shocks?

I’d say comperable life to ome. Only thing I’d need to change is the leafs! These would just be able to handle the weight Better and give me a little more lift than dakars. And they’d likely flex out a bit easier. Alcan only makes custom packs and has been doing so for a long time.

So a simple swap of packs and you are set! Sounds like if Alcan sticks to their original quote you would be hard pressed to pass this up. You would have completely revamped the Tacos suspension to handle the weight & abuse you put it through.

Stay tuned. I plan on having it done in about an hour or so. I am processing the photos. I will just keep building onto the first page to make it easier for everyone.

Then I will go back and add video.

If you want to know if I endorse them, Yes, I do. They have great light output at an excellent price range, and I have not had any issues with the wiring or switches that come with them.
