Well, in all seriousness, and in the interest of safety, it definitely makes pulling the pins easier. To be 100% sure I may replace the key rings with something more substantial.

I just need to figure out where I am going to put them. @Montauk17 had a great idea of just putting them behind the drivers side passenger seat so for now they will go there. I would like to mount them out in the open of the cab though to shave seconds off getting them.

 

There’s a bracket floating around somewhere to mount them right in front of your drivers seat, horizontally. So as you’re getting out of the truck you can grab it in one fluid motion.

 

No power seats in my rig. I wonder if it interferes with the manual seat adjustment lever or getting in and out. These are the smaller ones so one on each side would way cool! Need to find that bracket and see what the details are! Thanks Randy.

Funny, that's exactly what I found. It looks like the perfect solution but $120 though seems excessive to mount two fire extinguishers.
I wonder if I could come up with my own version. Some flat bar cut, bent and drilled to fit and then just attach the brackets that come with them to that. I would rather not drill through the floor, yet.......

 

I think that would work well. Flat bar with two holes, and use the factory seat bolts. Then attach the supplied bracket to that!

 

Just weld it in there. Than it deffitantly wont roll around.

 

Yea, I like the idea for sure having them right there, thanks Randall! You're definitely smarter than the average bear. I like how if there is a passenger they can grab one too to help. Might make all the difference in the world. I will have to add the mod to my (edit) not build, mod, page which is gonna drop before Christmas. Ho Ho Hoe!
