Someday I'd like to be able to have both so I don't have to play favorites but with how fast electric tools become obsolete, I'll double down on the 20/60V platform. I do love red but I feel like Milwaukee is going to switch up from the 18V lineup soon. (not that it really makes that much difference...)

I been using Dewalt simply because They are Easy to repair, Parts are inexpensive and the Dewalt Service center is right near where I work so I just pick up what I need during lunch and were good.
Yes I wear and Break my Dewalt's because it is a Tool and I make them work extra hard. I had some of the Red Milwaukee's and never could get parts as easy and the drill motors crapped out too fast.

I think they are gonna have to. They have to be loading money on their new high power tools. Running at the power levels they are to compete with dewalt flexvolt tools, they are pulling 3x as much current. I’m not an electronics engineer but I think that’s like 9x as much heat energy to deal with. Meaning they need huge gauge windings in the motor (more copper equals more cost), and multiple (and more expensive) FETs on the controller. It’s gotta add up to a lot of cost they are eating to stay competitive. Also, I’m pretty sure DeWalt has the patent for multi voltage systems (single battery dual voltage, I think Makita has the patent for dual battery systems) so anything Milwaukee comes out with will need to be dedicated high voltage or licensed from DeWalt.

150 is cheap. Retail is 250.00. With this eBay find I am not going to pursue this any further.

Surprised to see the dislike of Milwaukee...I have some Makita and Milwaukee stuff and everything about it just seems nicer than the DeWalt stuff we have at work. The feel of the tool, the chuck, even the buttons just seem like they are higher quality. Although, I will say I'd take Makita over Milwaukee.
