I have 4.88 gears. On 35's I am at 2200 RPMs at 65 MPH. 14.5-15 highway MPG according to my scangauge. Truck is fun to drive, has plenty of spunk, and crawls well.

The only real choice is 4.56 vs 4.88. If you are going to spend all this money to re-gear, you at least want to get some sort of change in feel/performance out of it.

4.56 and 35's should feel similar to stock. 4.88 will have some more pep and will crawl better, but you lose a little efficiency on the top end. But shoot, you probably shouldn't be doing much more than 70 MPH routinely on 35's in these trucks, the heavier/wider tires do not help handling that is for sure.

4.30 is perfect for 33s with an automatic transmission. You are going to want to go with 4.56 or 4.88 if you're running 35s with an automatic.

    Thanks bro!

Lol, I feel Yah on the point of wanting to get some extra Umph for the buck. But she was brought into this world as an emergency response truck. The first 7 years of her whole life she either crawled over stuff, hit stuff at high speed or went at high speed to get to stuff she could hit at high speed. Lol!

The whole time, and since, to keep that going, if parts needed to be changed or upgraded, they were :)

Please no troll stupid comments.. Etc...

But literally, she has run at over 100MPH on closed I-10 during hurricanes, and national disasters for 100 miles at a time.

I think she would kill me, or at least be mad at me of we ran on the interstate at 70MPH maxed out once she finally reached retirement :)

Everything aside, best truck I ever owned!

They did a special run of the offroad (mountian edition or ridge) mine is a v6 mt with 4.10 tags on the axle and the sn verified it. Dont know how long they did the 4.10 but found acouple OTHERS with the same ratios.
