    That's interesting since its not what it sounded like from the shop that will be doing it.
    From what I understand is that they Flash the ECU in house with the OVtune. Definitely curious to know more about the process.

    That's interesting to hear. I wonder if the new flash tuning OvTune offers allows a person to overwrite the BD tune themselves? Unfortunately ov is away for a few days so can't answer questions.

    General consensus among the supercharged crowd here is the TRD tune, while often pig rich, is the safest and most reliable tune thus far. People are still waiting for proper tunes from ov and the urd ucon is hit and miss for some people and requires a stock, virgin ecu to work properly.

    Is KRave dyno tuning?

    I've had the handheld since February this year. I uploaded the 91 tune for The Supercharged version and I am still seeing at wide open throttle in the high nines still running super rich

    It's about customer service and managing expectations. You first mentioned V2 cals over four months ago. Multiple commitments to get them out have come and gone. The only updates we receive come in response to our inquiries. To be clear, Mat, many of us are happy with the magic you've worked with our ECUs. I'm sorry if it seems harsh, but we're just looking for proactive updates and realistic timelines, especially when it comes to commitments made last summer.

    Hmmmm @OVTune is a 1grfe tuner able to be used on a 07 scion? My new commuter might be up that alley while I figure out a replacement motor for the Tacoma....

    I understand and we are trying. When we first started the 4.0L tuning it was around the same time, or shortly after the 3.5 3rd gen. We had no idea just how much of a mess the 3rd gen is, it has taken up nearly all of my time and Rafael is working over time to get every else sorted as quickly as possible. We absolutely will have a v2 calibration out for all SC trucks, and it does not stop there. There are so many things we can do with the 4.0L platform, we just don't have the man power right now.

    We still want a 2006 - 2007 truck for development but good condition ones of that year are difficult to find, or highly modified.
