Hello... It`s time to get a new set of tires for my 2004 2WD Tacoma. I`ve always replaced the tires with what they came with from the dealer 205 75/15. Is their something better I should be using. It the extended cab model and the handling has never great from new. Any help would be appreciated. Thank Jeb

If you live where it snows very often I would stick with the stock size. Otherwise a bigger rim and a lower profile tire will help handling but will make it ride rougher.

Thanks Joe.... I ended up putting the same size tires back on the truck. Walmart has the Goodyear 60000 mile tires on sale. So for 248.00 I`m all set. We do get snow up here, so I didn't have too many options. Thanks Again. Jeb

Apparently the Walmart Goodyears are solid tires, so you're probably good. The OEM tires are good for holding air, but that's about it.

Make sure to add some weight in the bed if you do encounter snow. Better traction.
