Simple wash through touchless car wash (of course it rains right after) after 2 weeks of wintery weather and associated road salt/calcium chloride splash. It's a new facility that opened about 9 months ago. Has a really good, multi-angled bottom blast.

Spent a good 45 mins at the selfwash place down the street knocking 4 months of dust, sagebrush, dirt, debris and dead jackrabbit off the taco truck.

Then took it to Lowe's to get some coating for my RCI skidplate that gets delivered tomorrow, and some 10AWG wire for the fridge and 40" S8 lightbar I ordered.

Make sure you follow through with that and save it in its own separate bank account . That’s what I did and let’s just say it was incredibly wise :D

Installed a magnetic tranny filter on the return line to tranny from the cooler. I did a full +12 quart flush w/pan drop this summer, so hopefully this will keep my new fluid nice and clean.

The hose clips I used are OEM Toyota- Same ones used on the Tacoma power steering return line. Very beefy!!

Installed bed lights. Used rock lights and did 3 on each side. Pretty bright!E85C1222-A24F-46E9-8CCB-7548A7D8070A.jpg2730787F-2080-4D43-81FC-033FD38F4147.jpg

Remove all the bed cubbies, Install lights in the bed sides and solder the three on each side to a single point and leave enough wire to hang down below the frame rail after routing it through the bedsides to the front of the bed. The passenger side required more wire to route it in a crossmember to join with the driver side. Then soldered a weatherproof connector to join to the relay harness. Cut the switch harness the relay comes with and solder the ch4x4 switch harness together and bam, bed lights.

Oil change, tire rotation, greased drive shafts, cabin filter, washed, waxed, installed new EGR window visors, and lubed up the door seals with napa sil-glyde. Now I'm exhausted but ready for winter.

    A thing or two...
Got the last of the fiberglass on today. Put the front fenders on this spring. Did the driver bedside 2 weeks ago and installed the passenger bedside today.

Night and day difference in the ride. Pretty easy with power tools and a proper compressor

Got some work done today. Installed the Expedition Essentials 2TPAM with rapid charger for my phone and iPad while traveling. Also installed my ARB awning to my Habitat Offroad Tacoma Cab Rack. Then got my Rago Fabrication compressor tray installed and put my single compressor and fuse block on it. It’s not completely finished but it’s a great stopping point for the day.

Need some info if someone’s willing to help. I’ve got 17x9 MB v drive rims, I’m pretty sure I have conical lugs. I’m searching for new lug nuts, need them black. My question is, can I run ET’s with the v-drive’s or no? Also, almost every lug I’m finding is a damn splined lug, not some standard 21mm or 17mm. Any ideas, and I need 24, not 20, I’m getting rid of my gorilla locks.

Second bearing assy came in. Replaced the front driver's side bearing as a preventative measure:

I get that delay due to the throttle by wires we have on the Taco. Annoys me, I have the Pedal Commander on the 4Runner and it's amazing  Thought I'd throw some love towards the Tacoma since all the mod money went towards the 4Runner.
