I’ve been to Ohio, it’s on the way to West Virginia when you start in Colorado.

How is that? Don't you just take the interstates direct?
Been to Beckley several times. Are you putting up a zip line near there?

I’ve spent quite a bit of time in WV, better part of a year infact. Mostly Glen Jean near Fayetteville, and also Morgantown. I’m looking forward to it, as it’s been a few years since I’ve been there. Where are you located?

Yep, I’m teaching a chainsaw and tree felling training for some of our crew.

So a little farther west, can’t say I’ve been there. We had several projects in that region from Seven Springs, PA to Asheville, NC when I got on with the company.

Yea, most people have never heard of it. Its in the heart of the Hatfield McCoy trail system (huge atv/sxs riding area). Were getting alot of tourism from that, so were growing a bit.

I like your positive attitude

Kinda scares the crap outta me. It ground felling is right behind aerial tree work, and working underneath helicopters as far as dangerous things that we do. That said, to make a zip line, you’ve gotta dump a few trees. It’ll be good, the biggest thing I have to teach is when to say when.

I have been to Burning Rock Off-Road Park, we built a zip for them, and I had to inspect and tension it. But Sophia (Burning Rock) is about as far west as I’ve been in WV for any real time.

I like running chainsaws, but I respect them as well. I don't know if I would want to do aerial tree work though.

This would certainly be better. Especially for the area.

I don’t drink much anymore, but when I did that was one of the highlights of being east of the Mississippi. I’ll be happy just to spend some time in Appalachia, it’s a place that I enjoy visiting.

That is one thing I do enjoy about living in Ohio is living in Appalachia.
