    Dude... that sucks... balls...

I dont know about you. But I am OCD to a fault. I'd have that dash in so many peices scrubbing the shit out of everything and be doing it for days...

I cant even imagine... I'd probably end up selling it anyway and buying a new one... but I'm crazy so probably don't listen to me..

I’m the same way, man. It’s 0133 and I’m trying to figure this shit out. The blower motor and filter are clean FWIW. I can kind of see down into the vent with my phone and it’s a mess.

I'm sorry man... seriously... I hope you are either able to get it all cleaned out. Or able to get it good enough to forget about it... I just know I would constantly be on the lookout for smells, squeaks, mold ect until I had to give in and ditch the thing....

But I'm schizophrenic AF so even if I perfectly clean it up and everything... I'd still be convincing myself that something is smelly or something...

    Good luck to you.

You need like 14 hours and a big box for bolts from the dash to do it right. Start taking the dash apart and eventually you will get to the duct. Good luck man.

Well... you could always find a good detail shop and get a quote to have someone else do it. If it's under a few hundred dollars it may be worth the money. Save you time and frustration

It won't. It takes a long time to R&I a dash.

If it's just the drivers side you might get to it behind the instrument cluster. The vent tubes are abs but the danger is gumming up the control flaps with dried sugar and dust, not to mention the ant bait. If it drains through the control plenum to the heater core/ac evaporator that has a drain to the engine bay and you might be able to flush it with warm water without removing anything at all.

Glad some people here know things, and can fix / mod complex things.

I'm still getting myself amped up for the clutch accumulator delete... and that's supposed to be easy they tell me... but I'm probably gonna end up burning it all to the ground trying...

See if you can see where it’s coming out. If you do nothing now, you’ll likely be replacing blend door actuators and shit down the road. If there’s a bright side, this’ll be a great time to do stereo wiring and accessorize while you have it all ripped out.

Sorry man I know it sucks.

I don't know the layout of the duct control vents but if the soda didn't leak through to the floor that would be promising. I'd park on a downgrade, set the controls to defrost only, pop the hood, and try pouring some clean water through a tube into the vent to see if it comes out the drain. If that works switch to hot water and repeat. If it causes the entire dash to short out then oops. Maybe put some towels under the footwell vents in case it gets by the foam seals. Is there a schematic for the vent system?

get a colony of sugar ants and let them take care of it or find out where the drain points are and pour some isopropyl alcohol down. it will carry the residue down and evaporate. or just live with it. like the dust through the odo reset stick.

make sure fire isn't around if you are using isopropyl
