Red Dead Redemption 2

I knocked out the epilogue last night and finished at 3 am. Still hooked and debating going for 100% completion

 

What else are you guys doing for those that have finished? I’m trying to get the entire map exposed. There is a lot down south. Haven’t found anything too cool yet.

 

I finished the last of the legendary fish and dinosaur bones, now I'm gonna go visit all the graves. Might try for full completion of the game, or play the original red dead since I havent before

 

Finally figured out the secret to getting perfect snake skins just track them for a bit then they magically drop dead and you can pick them up.

Also in other oddities it has been pouring down rain a lot lately checked the temp 28 degrees. Lol 28 and raining.

 

Damn! I sold a bunch of perfect pelts to one of the trappers, then I was checking out what outfit/clothes I could buy when a Grizzly sounded real close. I backed out and it was right on top of me. I managed to kill it but it scared the trapper who ran off to report a disturbance. He would not listen to reason so I'm down one trapper.

 

I'm sure he'll be back.

The photographer guy got mauled by a bear after I did the wolf mission. Next time I played he was there ready for another side mission.

 

I've drowned the crazy preacher you find in the river at least five times and he keeps reappearing

 

That preacher really freaks me out. The attention to detail on his face gave me nightmares

 

He'll be back. Same thing happened when I shot a cougar near his camp NW of Strawberry.

Haha I quit not far from his camp. Today I went strait there and he was back. Spent a few hours collecting every herb I could find so I can level up. I also found all but two of the hidden gold locations. I got the sacred trinket from the chief so now my health lasts a lot longer (armature archeologist).

 

I'm up there now. Had a horse full of perfect skins including a wolf then i turned into an idiot and took on the odriscolls at their ranch and rushed the barn trying for the 3 throwing knife kills in 10 seconds challenge. Promptly died and lost my skins on the way to the trapper from the far NW

 

Anyone going to play the online beta tonight? Don't think I will be, still haven't finished the game and not sure if online even interests me. I don't like most games now because they spend 85% of their time and money building the online and only 15% on single player. One of the many reasons I'm loving this game since they did not follow that recipe.

 

Honestly probably not mostly for the same reasons I cant get into GTA online, you try and actually play the game then some idiots ruin it running around harassing people and killing you. All the more reason I really enjoy games like this and Ghost Recon Wildlands huge open world type single player that takes a while. Although the level of detail in this is way better than Wildlands.

 

Have you seen if any types of game modes have been announced? Kind of curious what you will do online, but didn't see anything about game modes in R* announcement statement

 

some folks on Twitch are playing online now. seems Xbox is behind (no surprise there) on the open world function.

 

I think it's PS4 exclusive for 30 days, if I remember correctly

 

I see some Xbox guys on, doing the matchmaking stuff...just not sure if they are in the "open world"
