I am curious to see if any of u have a BS in industrial technology and if so what type of work are u currently doing or have done. I grad this fall and will be getting out of the navy next year so I'm trying to get some good ideas where to start looking. I have a aircraft/avionics background btw.
    Thanks

I have a BS in Industrial Tech from Murray State. Currently, I'm a Production Engineer for a Tier 1 Toyota supplier making interior components. Basically, we do everything from quoting a project to implementation and handoff to the plant. However, I'm looking for a new job because they are relocating our entire PE dept. :(

Good luck with your job search, it seems things are getting better, but it's still slow.

dang that sucks man!! Sorry to hear you are having to look for a new job!

So you went to Murray St? Racers baby! I grew up not to far from Murray. Down in Dover, TN. I know you have heard of it, a lot of folks from Dover go to school there. I used to know some folks up in Murray too.

So where do you think you may end up at?
I am looking too, maybe we can end up working together.

Oh yea, I know where Dover is. Heading down to LBL this weekend to ride quads.

We're staying around the Lexington area since we love it. Something will turn up as 12 of 45 engineers already got new jobs in only a month. Good luck, you should a lot of options especially if you don't mind where you live.
