    Im going with Snowperformance kit.

Meth/water kit ups the octane of your fuel and decreases dentonation. Plus cools the blower a LOT(up to 100º) and cleans everything, TB, valves, intake, whatever.

    Yep. Which snow kit?

This is probably going to sound stupid. But I thought about getting the Aquamist, disconnecting the 7th injector and using the 7th injector wires and map to control the water meth. But I don’t know if it would work.

Snow has a mappable Kit now too. But it’s more expensive than Aquamist now. And I’d think Aquamisy uses the best parts and has the best tech.

I can't find it! Years ago there was a blog of a guy that took a grey gen1 S/C, cut it up, slipped in a trans cooler to be the intercooler core, lines, another cooler, pump etc- basically built what the 2nd gen (not black S/C, but 2nd gen Tacoma) S/C setup already does.

I can't remember I'm a ways from doing that so don't have it on my mind much. Not much help there. I don't think doing the 7th swap will work as well. You need the water and meth atomize before the rotors and tb.

I know what you're talking about. I found the link but the site it refered to is dead

We could always just run a aftercooler on the intake like the drag racing guys and have the blower poke up through the hood.
I believe I found the link as well. Way back machine didn’t work.

Pardon my ignorance, but what business does that big plastic globe have in your truck?

I see those on 1970’s and 1980’s Cadillacs and Buick’s. I believe they were charcoal canisters for early emissions systems.

Thought you guys would enjoy this.

I was out sweeping through the American section of the Modesto Pick-n-Pull when I spotted a 1998 SR5 v6 4WD. Out of all the Tacomas I’ve seen at the junkyards, this is the first 4WD. It’s always a 5-lug or the occasional PreRunner in California. This one was long stripped, but...

This was the hood. The PO glued shag carpet to it.

And put what appears to be “hood pins” or two eye bolts and some chain connected to nothing.

Vacuum tank, so he can have vacuum actuated things in times of low to no vacuum. Charcoal cans usually look like cans.

Wonder what those spheres were for in those old American land yachts. I would see them in 70’s and 80’s Cadillac DeVilles and Buick Roadmasters, for example.

It went away in early 1990’s vehicles. Maybe because of the transition away from vacuum systems.

Vacuum was so much more common back in the 70’s to 90’s. Had to fix my jammed 2000 E320 trunk the other day. I learned all the locks are pneumatic for some reason.

Beside the point. Vacuum is no fun.

I am still salty about the placement of the charcoal canister on my ‘98. Takes up so much valuable real estate. I wanted to convert to the 2002-2004 under bed style, but after looking into it — it’s not feasible.

Maybe I’ll move it to the other side of the engine bay adjacent to the washer motor. That area where it is now is where I’d like to put a Bussman box.

All the wires enter and exit the cab on that side at the firewall, so I figured it’s better than putting the box on the passenger side.

I’m pretty sure that’s Lloyd Christmas’ old Toyota Pick up Truck...He built that rig after him and Harry had a bad Break up and Harry took the Old “Mutt Cutts” Van
The “I Owe You’s” ran their course and Lloyd couldn’t finish the new Toyota build.

I’ve been watching Mountain Men on Amazon recently. One of the guys puts his dog on the hood to pick up scent when they are lion hunting. Actually saw an episode last night and they were using a Tacoma. Here’s the only pic I could find.F8D2E96F-4203-4752-AA16-F3A8FBD6E147.jpg

It's a vacuum tank I got cheap off of Amazon, I'm hoping to find something more tasteful.
