I went with the Dana 60 because ECGS makes an almost bolt in axle for 2k less than the Currie 9”. That’s after upgrading to all new bearings and 35 spline chromoly axles. Also retains the wheel speed sensors. Was a no brainer.

 

Interesting option, something to look into and consider. Thanks man.

I’m thinking about it, so one day when I regear and add somthing in the rear I might add the front LS

Referring back to the OX lockers, when you mentioned the different ways of actuating/engaging them did you mean that OX provides models per means of operation or that they provide a model/s that can be controlled by all three means? Also, cable operation...sort of like a direct link actuation (fly-by-wire, etc.) sort of thing?

 

All of my knowledge about OX lockers comes from one conversation with Steven at ECGS, so I’m certainly not an expert. I’m so over ARB, it was an easy sell.

As I understood it, the locker is basically the same internally whichever form of actuation you choose. The difference is simply the method of actuation. The cable option is literally a cable controlled by a lever.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

Yeah, I think I'll keep the my compressor from them, but I can't really see myself getting much else from ARB.

That's pretty much the way I was interpreting it too. Essentially a direct link application (less moving parts = less broken shit).

 

I love the compressor. I love the ARBs until they leak.

Last year, the rear ARB seals gave up out in Moab. Leaking so bad it wouldn’t actuate with a 2.5 gallon tank.

I live in NJ. It wasn’t fun having it crap out on a bucket list trip like that.
