Stupid GA and it’s 14% abv cap only allowed us to get the Goose Island BCBS Bramble this year. But several 2017 and 2016 variants were made available. Scored some Coffee, 1 Original, and 2 Barleywines.

Drank one of the 2017 Coffees Friday night. It was good, but still had a good bit of boozey heat. I figured it might have mellowed a bit more.

I had the Bramble on draft last night and didn’t care for it... I thought it tasted like bourbon barrel-aged wine.

Cracked the 2016 Barleywine tonight and that was a tasty beer!

GF made me go shopping today, but I told her I’d only go if we could stop by Cherry Street Brewery. Had a flight and picked up some special release stuff.

Cafe Con Leche milk stout was great! Wasn’t too crazy about the Gingerbread stout. It was pretty heavy on the ginger. The Balzac BBA stout and Balzac BBA Maple were very good!

Ha! Those drips are actually after I had finished pouring the bottle and rinsed it out. Not sure I'd want the watered down stuff!

Have one! I’m goinh to keep some it for that. It would take me long time to burn through a cord of oak.

I was told the vanilla sold out in about an hour but one of the bigger places a town over had about 4 cases left Friday night. Said it isn’t selling nearly as fast as previous years

I’d like to try the vanilla if I can get my hands on one but I’m sure as the years go on they’ll produce more.

I never thought people would be too crazy over crafts until I went to Treehouse for the first time and saw over 300 people in line 2 hours before the door opened

Eh, he's super into them and goes to a lot of their can releases and then brings me some and insists I take them. I'm not one to complain or turn down free beer... I don't feel the need to stand in line for releases of anything tho.
