...^^^... I am trying a buy a 2019 now .... and I had a conversation with an ATL Toyota dealer yesterday ... that SET was adding waaaaayyyy too many worthless options and shoving the prices up up up ... after owning a dozen new Toyota trucks ... I might go back to Honda.

IMO ... Moran's SoEastToyota has gotten super greedy (with all this worthless add on stuff) and it's costing Toyota Japan a lot of sales now.

Or I could go out of the SET Cartel's influence.

I just sent then am email and talked to a salesperson.

Edit: Don't go through Costco, you can get a better deal on your own if you spend some time.

Was in a hurry since my 1997 Saab had bit the dust.......

2019 Access cab 4x4 w/4 cylinder and automatic
SR model ( a stripper but has everything I need).

    MSRP was $30,288

Tacoma SR 4X4 Access Cab $28,625

Includes standard dynamic radar cruise control, lane keep assist, Pedestrian detection and some other really nice features at no additional cost over base.

SR Convenience Pkg (have no idea what that is) $230.00
All Weather Floor Liner/Door sill protector $248.00
    Door Edge Guard $140.00

With shipping ($1,045) the total Monroney was $30,288.00

There were no dealer add ons

I gave them $ 26,025 and was/is very happy. Got some $$ left over for some ICE and a few other things...

Financed through Toyota for the $1,000 rebate but will refinance w/credit union for about half the interest rate after I make a payment or two.

Bought almost 11 years to the day of the last new vehicle I bought (2008 Taco).

Hey if anyone needs a loan in CO let me know. I manage a bank and can do 3.15% for 60 months and 3.25% for 72 with 720+ fico.

Yeah, that's what I'm finding. I contacted three different dealerships through Costco and they were all more than the initial quote Groove gave me.

Alright. I think I did ok. Don’t tell me if I didn’t. Here are the details.

2019 Silver Off-Road, double cab, long bed, 4x4, A/T with Technology package.
Tow package, bed rings, door sills, all weather mats, and mud guards.

Got it for 34.5k before TTL.

That's a really good deal right now, IMO -- especially with the tech package. My only concern would be the financing if they got you with anything higher than 3.3%, but even that issue could be solved if you have decent credit and shop banks to refinance right away.

Hey guys, 1st post here. I’m in the market for a midsize truck and really leaning towards a 3rd gen Tacoma. Unfortunately I won’t be buying until the end of 19 or beginning of 20 due to my current lease (2017 civic). So I will most likely be getting a 19’ or maybe even a 20’ model. This is the first new vehicle I will be buying (no leasing) and would like to see if you guys think this would be possible. The exact truck I want is a Tacoma 4x4 ORDC 5’ bed V6 in Quicksand. Don’t really need the tech/premium packs just a barebones OR. Now I know pricing for the 2020 models aren’t out yet but this is just what I’m looking for ballpark wise.

Was hoping to get the truck I want for $37k OTD. Plan to put about $6000 down, no trade. My goal is to finance for 72 months with payments under $500. Based on a 4.9% rate (current Toyota rate?) my payments would be around $498/month. I have very good credit. Do you think this is possible or just I pipe dream? Thanks!

That’s reasonable, but I would look at getting better financing through a credit union. No idea what rates will be next year but they should be less then 4.9%. If you are buying end of next year you will get a better deal on 2019. No one knows what the 2020 will have different but it won’t be anything major.

End of the year bare bones TRD OR 5’ bed should be around 33-34k sale price. OTD depends on where you live and register the truck.

That's very easily doable right now, and at much better rates; however, nobody can tell you what interest rates will look like a year from now.

See my post above for the deal I just got yesterday on my barebones OR with a longbed. ($36k out the door with 2.9% for 60 months...72 months would have been just 3.9%).

Thanks! I live in upstate NY, state/county sales tax is 8%. So if I got OTD for $37k I would be paying $34k for the vehicle itself. I know the numbers aren’t exact, just ballparking now.

Please post sale price. OTD varies a lot from state to state. Only accurate way is sale price.

Wow nice! Did you finance through Toyota or somewhere else? Unfortunately I will have to do 72 months but 3.9 doesn’t seem to bad.

Yeah, the dealerships in NC are currently offering the rates above if you use their financing. It's actually much better than most banks are offering these days.

You also have to use Toyota financing to receive all the other military discounts, cash rebates, etc.
