Alabama goes to toys for tots @windrock

You think Amy will make it in the truck the whole day? I’m trying to get my wife to go, but she hates riding in the truck on anything past gravel. Depending on the campsite situation my wife might be happy staying there and reading. I’ll have a hard time leaving if she decides she doesn’t want to make the trip.

 

she said she's up for it. I figure we will be stopping a lot as usual, which works well for the puppy. she loves camping enough that she's kinda willing to put up with the day in the truck. we may very well take a couple hours of breaks just to play with Leo and wear him out, play it by ear really.

 

I researved a campsite in the overflow.

 

My wife loves traveling across country and wheeling while doing it. But at a park stop and go all the time she dont like at all.

Anybody know what time the ride kicks off? Thinking about driving up the morning of. Lots of coffee will be consumed that morning.

I work till 11pm friday night. Then im gunna drive there, get there around 5am sleep a few hours in the truck then ride all day. Can you bring me some coffee to

 

Ill just get one of those giant yeti thermos containers and fill it full of black coffee.

 

You da man. Im gunna have the fridge in so anything you need to be kept cold feel free.

Also since its a fridge freezer combo ill bring the ice cream sandwiches

 

That sounds awesome. I've got a big ole Engel cooler I pack my cold stuff in but I definitely don't have a freezer.

I'll talk with the wife tonight and see if she's cool with me leaving town for a day. I don't think it'll be problem since its just for Saturday now. I can sleep on Sunday. Lol.

Anybody going to have on board air they'd be willing to let me mooch off of? Still haven't gotten around to getting a compressor or CO2 setup yet...

 

I've got my portable air setup you can use. But it believe windrock has air available at the park...could be wrong...

 

Either way. When I was at Choccolocco the air they had didn't work so I figured I'd better ask in advance. Definitely something I need to make a priority for future wheeling.

 

Yeah I've got the arb little portable setup. It gets hot if you use it too much so I take breaks with it. Usually do 1 truck then take a break with it.
