Mine has developed a helicopter sound in the drivetrain. Haven't torn it apart yet. No shit, I was looking above me to see if a helicopter was following me home haha.

    Back to the truck.

Speaking of harnesses, I have a kind of rare one. A brand new, well NOS, 92-93 GSR OBD-1 engine harness. Bought it for my 93 LS back in the day when I was swapping a B18C1 in and never used it. Not for sale though.

ewww, yeah, that doesnt sound good. I do believe if you were to put up that harness for sale, you could probably ask whatever you wanted for it and get that price lol.

I use to own a 01' GSR and 98' LS both silver coupes. I'm so tempted to find another one after seeing this restoration.

Shouldnt be hard to find one in decent shape out where you are at, around here its impossible lol

Not too much to update one since i forgot to take after photos. So, with a dead grinder on hand and the DA sander taking forever, i've started with chemical removal.

So its only a before picture of setting up, the after picture is much carnage. I really need to add another coat, or buy my new grinder and finish off the door panels.

Also, got a notification of an integra in the upull yard, the first one in over a year i think. So i left work early to go check it out, i've never seen a more rusted out integra. I have to go back there this weekend so i'll grab a picture of it, assuming it is still there. anyways, the reason i have to go back is to make a return. this car had tan leather seats with seat covers. i could not for the life of me get the covers off and they were closing in 15 minutes. so i took a gamble and bought them both.

Passenger side will be disassembled and replace my current driver's side seat
    [IMG]

Driver's side is going back to the yard for a store credit return lol, its in worse shape than the one currently in my car

Armed with my new grinder this weekend, i completed the 2 driver's doors, next weekend will be the passenger side.

    [IMG][/url]

    Bare metal.

And a quick spray bomb coating of the finest $0.94 a can paint so they metal doesnt start to rust. its way to cold to mix and spray primer so this will do until i can. Should sand off quite easily with the DA.

the paint tells no lies, there are quite a few areas that need to be smoothed out. also not shown, i used the paint stripper on the roof and the passenger side, so a few hours with the grinder should take care of that side. i think it took me about 2 hours to grind, then prep with the DA, then paint the cheapo paint. also showing up today are my ballasts for my retrofit, hopefully tonight or tomorrow night i can start cutting up my extra housing for practice mounting height etc.. for the s2000 projectors. This way if i screw up once, i wont need to go out and buy new headlight housings lol

my goal is to have primer sprayed hopefully end of april / beginning of may. then i can work on the rest of the body work and have it hopefully all done by end of june. if it takes longer, well thats just how it is at this point. i'm tired of tearing it down every winter lol. If i only get a few months to drive it this year but i finish everything so be it. After new paint i'm on to phase 3 o this project - refinement and enjoyment

So, this is taking quite a long time to get to where i want it. I don't get a ton of free time to work on the car these days, and one of my bigger tasks is taking up way, WAY more time than i thought. Replacing the cabin harness to the car to hopefully get rid of the electrical demons in my car....

Still have to finish this side, then i can put the dash and components back together and pray lol.

    Damn, what a job.
I think I'd want to try it before dash re-installation to make sure it's good.

Mine has a quarter inch of dust on it. I need to get going on mine as well. Been doing house projects. Did finish my Tacoma's front 2" LT though.

If i can get this stupid dashboard support to break lose, i think i could really get some work done. I've been working on the car friday and saturday nights after the wife and kid go to bed, then i go to bed at like 3 am lol.

Oh i am definitely doing that. i'll connect the gauge cluster and nothing else to see what happens first lol. House projects are taking over, keeping up with a toddler is taking over, preparing for baby number 2 is taking over lol.
