My guess is, since he's mentioned before that some dealers have approached him in the past, it would be a dealer-level add-on and a decent dealer will generally cover warranty on add-ons they sold the truck with. But yeah, will be fun to see what kind of mark-up the dealers put on it. $65k SR5 with OVTune, twin turbos, intake, exhaust :)

Thanks Mat! The tuned throttle response helps move it so much better.

1.05 should be scrapped and renamed to 2.0 since it's a total revamping of the transmission programming in every possible way.
The whole trans code is basically being rewritten so there will be very little if anything based off of previous trans tuning versions and I think that warrants the 2.0 designation.
It'll honestly be a new beginning for the 3rd gen trans and I can't see anyone needing to keep a tune from the 1.0X series at all
Anyway, just posting random thoughts as I pass time perusing the alpha thread

"Acoustic Control Induction System, or ACIS, is an implementation of a Variable Length Intake Manifold system designed by Toyota. Simply put, the ACIS system uses a single intake air control valve located in the intake to vary the length of the intake tract in order to optimize power and torque, as well as provide better fuel efficiency and reduce intake "roar"."

Yes, I think the throttle body is about 3mm larger, maybe more. I've read if some guys doing the mod, but never really heard if/how much was gained.

Before I got the OVtune I stuck an Afe throttle body spacer on my truck and changed the oem intake tube to a silicone hose. Seemed to give a little more throttle response maybe but for sure the truck ran smoother and I haven’t had any of the surge, stumble, etc. problems you guys have had with the tunes. This may have helped???? I’ve been running 1.04 91oct since June and the truck runs great. I know a lot of people think these things are worthless but I figured what the hell it can’t run any worse and this same thing worked on my Tundra in the same way.Getting the new DD exhaust Weds..We’ll see what happens with that.17A99861-9426-4E3B-92D7-641AFDB6E1B6.jpg6E1BB46C9-7E4F-4AE6-87B9-0F4921B4D6C2.jpg
