I would like an all metal one but I had all metal knobs in my last 2 manuals and they killed me in the Texas summers.

Yeah, same with me. Aluminum about fried my hand the first summer. Had to keep a hat or beanie on it. Winter was cold, but not bad. I like this plastic TRD though.

So I went on a washboard dirt road the other day and... well it really seemed like my truck was bucking around to the point of insanity. Yeah it was a bumpy road but I may as well have been climbing stairs in the thing... and now I am experiencing alot of surging in the drivetrain. More than the normal slack in the driveline.
And its definitely got a bit of a grinding noise coming from the transmission...

I'm wondering if all the recent issues are all connected... the engine refusing to start after stalling, inability to shift to first without being at a complete stop, and now the bucking around and slack in the drivetrain.... ect.

    4800mi and I am at a loss...

Standing by on this one as well since the clutch fluid reservoir is in the way. I emailed Maverick with Power Trays, and waiting to hear back what he can come up with. It may be a custom job.

Roger that, I temporarily mounted my relay/fuse box there, but my air compressor will be going there when my locker gets installed, so looking into options for the driver's side.

Excellent! It is great to use that area to its potential and keeping the non-OR / non-Pro crowd jealous.

You might still have space over there if you don't get the air tank? You could also relocate the clutch reservoir. It just needs to be vertical and above the hole in the firewall. You can shorten the hose.

Appreciate the feedback boss, you speak my language. Yea I got a deal with the little 1.5 gal tank so I'm likely gonna go ahead and use it under the compressor for more capacity. I agree that spot has so much potential for shit we could mount up. As for the clutch reservoir relocation, I never really thought it was gonna be an issue until I saw how it would interfere with my switch system mounting yesterday.

    No problem!

That setup is going to be really handy, even without the lockers.

Compatibility of mods is always the (not) fun part. :sawzall:

Never ending! I figure if I ever run out or forget to refill my CO2, the compressor and little tank would be a good secondary system for airing up and light pneumatic tools.
