Anyone find that annoying door open buzzer and disable it?

2016 TRD Sport, I want to be able to work on my stereo or clean the interior with the key on acc and the doors open WITHOUT that annoying beeper going. Anyone else? Anyone find it and kill it? Want to share your experience?

Yah, did some searching and reading...I'll have some words with the door switch...;-)

 

Did you try turning it off and back on again?

 

I opened up the speedometer and removed the buzzer about a year ago. I should have done it on day one. It was very easy

 

Hmmmm.......I'll search for a walkthrough...(can't wait to bash it with a hammer!)

 

Get a carista obd tool, plug it in and turn it off with an app on your phone.

 

It is easier than that. Just twist it and it will detach. Then place speaker on a hard surface and bash away.

almost positive that if you just reach over and push the button on the door it will stop until the next time you close the door

 

With pushbutton start, if you shut the truck off and open a door, that bastard will not shut up until you close it again. Thanks for reminding me lol!

 

I meant a walkthrough on removing the speedo... But will twist and bash when able.
