I still have the leak the dealer told me it was from the wire to my light bar. It was sealed all the way around the wire. It leaks when I take it to a car wash. I will be taking it to a different dealer in a couple weeks or finding it my self. I think the windshield is leaking personally.

Do you have a sunroof ? My 2017 Tacoma was leaking from under the dash from the sunroof they forgot to put the drain tube in on the driver side.

I do have a sunroof... Do you know where specifically the entry point was for water into vehicle? Through a seam, clip hole along the A-pillar, etc.?

Did you wrap the wiring harness for the lightbar with loom? I had the same situation happen to me. The harness that passes through the firewall grommet was wrapped in split loom. Water would get into the loom outside the truck and funnel it under the dash. When poking around under the dash, the outside of the loom would feel dry, but there was one small spot where the split was facing down and that's where I had the drip. You can use a different style of loom (like the mesh style) which will allow water to drain before entering the truck or terminate the loom prior to passing through the grommet.

I just used the wire that came with the harness. I dont get any water when sitting or driving in the rain. Only when water is under pressure like at a car wash or pressure washer.

Still, if it has a sleeve or loom of any kind, you'll have a direct funnel into the cab. Take some time to really look at the wires and routing.

Where the wire runs through the fire wall its always dry. That was the easy out for the dealer I took it to. The way it leaks after a car wash its got to be around the windshield.

Agreed. This was after a frog choker yesterday:

That dust and splashes likely came from offroading and the car washes afterward. You can see a lot of watermarks around most everything but that very back portion of the firewall.

This is why I am scratching my head for @dilbert 's issue also.

I really think it’s coming from the windshield. My firewall is almost never wet when I have a puddle on my floor.

So, I get water on my driverside floor whenever I run my A/C and it is very humid out. My evaporator box gets really cold and condensation develops all over the outside of it and it just drips onto my foot.

Anyways, I took it in to the dealer twice and they verified that there is indeed an issue... and that's the last I've heard about it.

I had a leak that dropped onto my driver side floor mat, and I traced it back through the dash and up the A pillar.
From there, I found it was leaking from the factory double cab roof rack holes.

So if you can trace it to above the dash, it’s most likely the upper windshield area, Sunnroof (if you’re a gen3), roof rack holes (if your a double cab and have a light bar or rack installed), or any other holes you may have drilled for lights, antennas, or whatever.
    Yes
I’d try sealing any holes you’ve made or the factory roof rack ones first, and if that doesn’t stop it I’d check the windshield / sunroof.

Passenger side leaks seem to usually be a clogged A/C line, or it could just as well be one of the above issues as well.

It came down the A-pillar dripped from under the dash. They never put the drain tube in the A-pillar
