I'm a massive nerd. Haha. So tons. I kept discus fish and a whole bunch of tropicals. Plant wise Ive had pretty much everything there was available up here until the early 2000s. Just anubias and Java moss in this tank. There might be a dwarf Mellon sword in there too. Can't remember .

The fish are celestial Pearl danios. Aka baby trout haha.

I used to keep tropicals, but I got out of the hobby for years beacuse of my living situation. But my wife and I just bought a new house (few months back) and I set up my first african cichlid tank, and loving it so far.

Such fun fish to watch. Such aggressive eaters.

The game has changed so much. LED lights have come down in costs. CO2 injection is much more devolped. Dosing fertilizer is easier than ever.

We are moving this spring and I'll strat my 75 gallon up again . Something like this

I went with the turkey and cheese sammich and stout for “dinner” but will definitely be trying that recipe with beef kielbasa (pork allergy)

discus are awesome fish. I never got into them, more so into rainbowfish, sharks, and some misc danios. Then I got into south American cichlids, and then the addiction grew. I loved the aggression and colors

Trying to load a photo but our internet is bad again today. We have at least 9 inches I'd say, trees everywhere are touching the ground and a few down in the limited area I've been out in. The snow is still going but its barely falling at this point. If we get some more overnight like they say I think we deffenitly will have a solid foot. It's also SUPER heavy and we are losing power on and off constantly up here. If it was fluffly snow it'd probably be 2 feet!

Does look good. I'll have to try it sometime when the GF isn't around.

We had homemade mac & cheese with jalapeno's and leftover turkey for dinner last night.

Probably not for this group of people, but I found a vegan mac and cheese recipe the other day that looks good. Going to be making that on Saturday.

Yeah my truck was a short bed. I already miss my old setup with my homemade carpeted platform and LED light strip . Wide open short bed with no 110 in it now. I need a second job to outfit my truck back to how I had it.

I'm just looking for ways to use up leftover turkey at this point

We were originally cooking for 9, so I got a 25lb bird. Then my Grandparents canceled because of the weather and the GF's parents canceled because they made other plans, so we only ended up with 5 people. I stripped it down to the bones and froze a lot, but we've still got probably 3lbs in the fridge that needs to be used up before it goes bad. So far we've had a second Thanksgiving meal with all of the fixings, bean & rice burritos with turkey, a turkey pot pie, a Mediterranean-style turkey stir-fry, and last night's Mac & Cheese. That's on top of boring old turkey sandwiches, too, haha!

I'm thinking about just chucking the rest in the freezer for soup this winter.
