k and n cold air intake

are these intakes any good what kind do u have and what do u think

 

I have a K&N on my 95 and I love it...but I think I would prefer a TRD if I had a later model truck...just my 2cents

Stop making new threads and start searching

1. there is no TRD intake for 1st gens

2. you will see better gains from the deck-plate mod (search it)

 

I have a K&N, I love it, thats all i can say. But the TRD is great to, i would get either K&N or TRD

 

which model of k&n do u recommend

 

the plastic pipeing which is the 63 series, its cheaper but just a good, the 77series is chrome pipeing, they are equally the same, just price difference, I'd just go with the 63 series, i have the 77 series

 

the stainless is just for looks right

DECK PLATE MOD!! wayyy cheaper and just as good if not better look it up. i thought about gettin a k&n intake until ppl on here told me about the deckplate mod i did it and love it

 

could a K&N mess up my motor because i live on a dirt road

 

i just called advanced ant they said they had one in stock to fit my truck and it was 140 with out the filter is that right online they are like $279.99 is that right or are they different plz help

no the one they have is a spectra is it much different if i put a K&N filter in it

I have it on my '97 and consider it a total waste of money. Do the deck plate mod.

man, the K&N wont do anything for yout truck. there is a thing called the "deck plate" mod. it costs like 15 bucks and will give you better throttle response and a little more hp.
