Just had to get a 60 mm socket to remove a axle nut on a Jeep, remembered the measurement.

Edit. Damn looks like my tape was crooked as hell lol

Remeasured, bed cover is about 61 3/4” so tape wasn’t as crooked as I thought.

 

Good convo on tents. I’ve been researching between CVT and Tepui. Haven’t decided yet. Like the taping off on floor idea. Basically have it narrowed down to which one I’d go with on each. Like the idea of driving to TN to pick up vs. shipping.

 

Tepui youd just pick up in ATL at REi.

Those are about the measurements I had taken on my truck bed plus the accounted width of your cover. So cool.

On another note, Hobart puts cheap potentiometers in their machines for the feed speed control. Was wondering why I couldn't make a weld look any better than a booger. So my welder is currently out of business until I get the new part in. Didn't think my machine was cheap, but I guess everything is made in china these days.

Rexing V1 gen 3. Literally just put it on the windshield this morning so don't have a review of it yet

 

The first one I had was similar to that, but it died pretty quickly due to heat killing the battery. You really want one that uses a capacitor in Alabama summer.

It's not going to read a license plate from very far, especially at night, but I don't really see how that would really change that much in an accident. It can easily see stop lights/signs, and that you're not doing crazy stuff with bad drivers hit you.

From what I've read about the rexing is that even if the battery does flake out it will only lose saving the last clip if power is cut. It will still function fine just running off car battery. Only found 2 reviews of people killing them in less than a year.

Time will tell though.

 

I have the Rexing V1LG dual cam in my truck. Been very happy with it. Also have the hard wire kit just haven't installed it yet. Camera works great though. Bought it on Prime Day earlier this year for $118. Only complaint I have is the 3M tape that comes with it isn't that great. I bought some better 3M VHB tape to use for it.

My GoPro is a POS. It turns itself off, won't turn on, locks up. I hate it.

 

Have a Tepui and I got the ruggedized one for a bit more durability. That said, the Tepui annex is not integrated with the entrance like the 23Zero TacoAlamode has and I honestly like his better. Below is the 23Zero with the annex. It has a floor (Tepui annex doesn't) and is fully integrated with the top of the tent (Tepui is not). I spent a lot of time looking at RTTs (especially Cascadia, Tepui and others and none of them at the time had a set up like this.
