I agree with your approach 100%. Even if money was not an issue, Angel would have no idea what was going on and why she was being put through so much. I'm very sorry to hear about this, but I think you are doing the right thing.

Tough one brother. But it's the right decision. Our vet once told us..."animals have little understanding of the quantity of life. They only know the quality of life".

So sorry to hear. :pout: I do agree with your decision even though it’s a tough one. Please give Angel a belly rub from me and enjoy the time you have with her.

Oh man what a terrible diagnosis! I’m so sorry to hear this!!! Like others have said, you’re totally doing the right thing for her. Even if you had the money I think you’d realize that trying to prolong her life would be more for you than for her. I hate this part of having these amazing guys in my life- saying goodbye is horrible. Hang in there and we are all thinking about and praying you you.

Our cats do the same thing if there is a blanket in front of the fireplace. It's like sacred ground or something. Step off at your own risk, but no violence on the warm fuzzy.

How to tell my cats Rascal and Gizmo were active last night !!!

Cabinet doors or closet doors opened

Toilet paper rolls unfurled in both bathrooms

All their toys are all under my bed or under the furniture thru out my place

So after putting up the Christmas tree it quickly became evident the cats weren't going to leave it alone.

Neither is fond of the vacuum. So I decided to take advantage of that and make a homemade deterrent. A trip to Lowes netted me a plug, occupancy sensor, electrical box, cover and a cord to power it.

I plugged in a small hand vac and put it all under a chair near the tree. It's working great. :D

Big ones are King suspension, SSO bumper w/winch, Pelfreybuilt sliders.
Two boys. George is the grey, Miles is the other one. 6 and 15 years old and the play all the time... George fell out of an engine bay on the highway and was nursed back to health by my wife from a kitten. Miles was our neighbors cat who became ours after they left him behind when they moved.

We’ve resorted to putting a Velcro strap around our toilet paper rolls.

Why do people leave their pets behind?
Thanks for giving him a good home.

Thank you to your wife for nursing George back to health.
