Well he has a reputation, so I suspect you'd get a spoonful or two and he'd get the rest. :D

Just fabric material and mattress thickness.

I only use it when she’s with me. I’m cool with ground tenting.

Another tip I recommend is not using the damn zipper cover, I just use lashing straps to hold cover down. Zipper shitt, u have to roll down your back window and carefully zip that shitt up without catching the tent cloth

Sell me your roof rack if u end up selling the truck bruh

How is the cost of living in the north side? Round Rock and out 30 miles or so.

Expensive enough that you'll need to cut 2.6 kids from your family plans.

Yeah the zipper on my tjm broke the first time I used it and the damn aussies didnt have any to send to repair it. Ended up scrapping the tent a few months ago because instead of taking it off when not in use, I left it on and it got sun damage and mold.

    Gas is cheap...

...and that's about it. 1800 sq ft house for about $300K. They say they "start" at $240 but that's for a new empty shell and no extras. By the time you decide you don't want Home Depot Special laminate floors and formica counters, they're into you for some serious coin. Plus the property taxes.

Apartments are running around $1000 for 500 sq ft. It goes down when you hit the outlier towns, but with the commute comes the desire to commit vehicular homicide.

Thank all the Californians who get a million $ for selling their tiny little shitboxes and then drive our market up. They should stay in Dallas.

That's not to bad compared to my area of Houston.

I'm a 6am-3pm worker so traffic is never too bad for me in Houston. I assume the same for the RR area?

I'm thinking about taking a transfer to our Office out there in the next 2-3 years.

I'm on the south side of Austin - we refer to Round Rock and Georgetown as "Canada." Too far north. People I work with seem to like it...but they do complain about the commute in. One fender-bender on I-35 and it's a parking lot.

I also do the early work schedule to avoid most of the traffic. Round Rock isn't as bad as many areas of town, although it's still got room to grow. They're dropping two or three dozen townhomes into every 5 acre lot they can grab and charging an arm and a leg for no yard, no driveway, and $100/month "privilege to live here" fee.

I've got a friend who lives in Round Rock and when she was house shopping I was shocked how high the prices were for what I would call the "basic bitch" of houses. Neutral colored everything with super cheap looking materials.

Yeah they called at 2:45 saying my tires had arrived and I came straight here. I think mine are the tires stacked next to the front door.
