    Nope.

Apparently Wikipedia has not been on top of the kayak freshwater fishing rules.

Wikipedia also missed on the paddle only description. Pedal drive and electric motors also allowed.

Was officially approved by Kayak Bass Fishing, the governing body for most Kayak tourneys across the country.

And I checked with our local Hudson Valley Kayak Bass Fishing club. It’s allowed in their tourneys, which I’ve already signed up for.

Did my homework before asking the wife to plunk down :spending:

HOLY HELL that thing is bad ass. but you are going to want something smaller if you plan on fishing some of the smaller lakes and their little run offs that hide big bass.

In NY I need to register by coughing up 26 bucks. No water boating safety course required. But I know boating rules from previous boat ownership.

There is no license required in NJ. Boating safety certificate is needed regardless of how it's powered. You can take your safety certificate to the DMV and get a boat endorsement on your license but it's not required.

Don't listen to the coast guard puddle smashers they just fill the poop deck with seamen

It'll do just fine and will excel at hunting the big bass on ALL lakes and ponds and calm rivers. It’s definitely not designed for fast moving water. But that’s not the type of fishing that I plan on doing.

The kayak has a very shallow draft, the prop automatically retracts when it encounters underwater structure or manually fully/partially retracts to get through weeds.

Rudder system with hand controls on the seat that turns it on a dime.

Pedal system and motor system that can reverse instantaneously or keep the boat in a nice holding pattern to really pound a specific fishing spot.

Seat that rotate 360 degrees so I don’t have reposition the kayak. I just rotate to cast to my target.

So it’s the perfect fishing machine for all the water on my 2019 tournament schedule:
Silvermine, Rockland, Kanawauke, Welch, Sebago, Walton, Greenwood, Copake, Taghkanic, Mahopac.
