    yuh yuh

maiden voyage brought up a few issues.. which i'm not surprised about because it has sat for so long.
rack and pinion is shot along with the outer tie rods and the brake pads. possibly the power steering pump. won't really know until the rack and pinion is replaced.

in the last week she's gotten new tires, a new optima 34r redtop, new tail lights, new front turns(not yet installed), POR15 rust killing kit, numerous cleaning supplies, new upper ball joints, and some Lucas oil power steering leak stop - believe it or not it worked this time around.
phew, she's expensive. reminding me to stay single, ha

After having a busted tail light for 5+ years, I finally replaced it.
Any guesses as to how long these last?

Actually I take that back. I'll be changing them by the end of the year to something more special :spy:

    It definitely is.

I might do something with my tail lights too. The huge amber part annoys me.

This sucker looks mean on fullsize 37s.

    Do something cool.

    Nah man. Won't be ready.

Nope. The spare is a 33, it's more for looks right now heh. I have the 37 waiting for it, but I need to find a matching wheel and that's the hard part.

I've got some more pics I can upload tonight. I'm finally going to start getting around to updating my build. Already had the tube doors on and all that jazz. It feels good to be driving her again.

I'll go ahead and leave this pic here since people on the tacoma enthusiast group on FB are going crazy over it.
I'm a firm believer in taking care of the paint as best as possible. I always do a full detail before every wheeling trip and yesterday I decided to claybar and do a very quick wax. An hour later she's looking great again

I'm on page 5 and REALLY need pictures. Love the truck; I'm doing my '03 very similar when the time comes. Soo good.

I'm embarrassed by the print quality of this fluid cover, but it is now 3 years old! Too old to replace now. One of the most useful things I've ever printed for myself.
