We're concerned with being able to offer the best quality of wheels possible while keeping the price point affordable.

I just ordered a set of 5 F5 wheels. I wanted to install new TPMS sensors. I saw a few people reused the old ones, but it looks like I can get sensors for around 35$ per and not have to deal with taking the old ones off, etc. Has anyone else installed new sensors and have recommendations?

Same - They "rebuild" them? Sounded like bs to me though...I just watched them grab a new one and throw it on my new rims.

I've heard some guys get new ones and DT keeps the old ones. I had my stock stuff separated and watched them reuse mine.

I have a question for you that have these on a third gen. Is there some sort of center cap for the from wheels that actually came stock with the truck? I had my sport wheels on before with the Toyota center cap and now I see mostly all of you that have the center cap covered. Possible fuck up on the tire shop not putting them back on? Also would I be able to purchase them through Toyota?0AB82273-7BCA-4359-8186-5B97BA9F163A.jpg

Theres no cap included, I believe most guys just paint that area. There are some TRD caps in the items discussed section at the bottom of the page, too, but I’m not sure which fit

Yeah I remember asking vin wether they had center caps and he said no. But notice how these have the center cap. I think these might be stick on the trucks? B0C15A06-1066-42FE-9F17-86870F957EAB.jpg

That's the OEM front dust caps that came on all 2nd gen Tacoma 6 lug trucks. I think Toyota went cheap on the 3rd gen and skimp on them. Someone might want to try installing one on a 3rd gen.

Yes, there's nothing that needs a dust cap so there's not one of those either.

Sand, clean (just a dab of rubbing alcohol) tape, spray, enjoy.

I have a feeling that you could still fit one on there though.

Yeah 2wd, makes sense though as to why it doesn’t need a cap. I guess I’ll just need to paint them after all.
