IPhone coming to verizon

I swapped out of Verizon to get the iPhone.. it was $100 for the phone and then $150 for the termination fees...


Wasnt that bad.. Plus I get more usage and service than I EVER did with the gay Dare.

 

Don't know about using it ouside the country but it seems like others do. And you can data and voice at the same time. I just made a call while typing this on my droid. If the iphone cant...its apples fault, not verizons

 

No, I have never called from outside the U.S. with my Verizon Wireless phone. I have sold Verizon Wireless phones to customers that were using them outside of the U.S. The only phones that were capable of this was the Blackberry 8800 World Edition and the Tour 8950. I have not sold a phone in a year, so there are new ones out that have that capability. You are correct that Verizon Wireless has to turn on your international capability, but like I said, you need a phone (there's only a select few) that can do that.

AT&T, since the introduction of 3G, has always been able to let their smart phones use voice and data simultaneously.

Unless it has changed since then, I had Verizon and 3 smart phones with them and was never able to use voice and data simultaneously.

 

AT@T sucks donkey balls. I broke my contract after 6 months and went back to VZW. Traded iPhone for Droid

 

Depending on where you use your cell phone, service varies. Verizon Wireless sucks in some areas, too.

 

I hope the rumor is true! Around here, AT&T coverage sucks and verizon is much better. Just so happens that my 2yr contract on my current iPhone runs up some time in december, so that would work awesome for me! Verizon iPhone 4 here I come.

 

I'll believe it when Verizon starts advertising the IPhone! It would be a smart move for Apple to provide their products with Verizon.

Wouldn't the iphone (for Verizon) be a different phone suited for Verzion (duh)? Do you think it would have an FM radio tuning in it - similar to the nano?
Just curious.... I'd heard they might start adding the FM transmission to the iphones but I wasn't sure if they did or not.

Look AT&T is not perfect, verizon isnt perfect either, they both have weak spots. Just because you hate AT&T doesnt mean they will end, or just because other people hate them doesnt mean they will end. If verizon did get the Iphone, AT&T will still have the Iphone, so far it isnt legit yet.

If this is true, then I'm torn on what to do. I get an upgrade next month and was going to look into the Droid but if Iphone comes in January I'll have to wait.

I have no idea, I think I'm going with a droid anyway.

 

I probably will anyway. My current phone is shot after 2 years and I can't deal with it much longer.

But I assume that for the Iphone to come to verizon they have to be able to do phone and data at the same time. Not sure what will happen to Droid when they get Iphone or if Droid has the ability to do those things.

Which Droid are you going to go with?

 

If its true I bet droid phones won't be so popular anymore.

I'll believe it when I see it, but don't think I'll leave at&t and go back to verizon if they get the iphone. I've got no complaints and get good service no matter where I go with my iphone.
