Oh. You better ask in the Cincinnati thread. I'm an hour east of C-bus.

Call me crazy, dangerous, whatever... but I purposefully slide the rear end out on every corner when it snows!

Installed 265/75R16 Duratracs last night just in time for the snow. Been jonesing for tires since my 887s and AAL went on

when *I* do it by MY choice, I fully agree. When the truck does it just because and I eat a guard rail? Nah....no thanks! Menards has 70lb tube sand bags for like $4 each. I accidentally bought 4 cause I thought they were the 50lb bags they advertised on the website, dudes let me drive around in back and used a forklift to get the pallet level with my tailgate and we just slid them across, was great cause it was cold and wet when we did it last week. I ended up pulling one out as I didn't like the extreme sag 4 70lb bags did, I figure 3 70lb is enough.

I actually have 3 of those 70 lb tubes in the back of my FJ right now...ratchet strapped down under a false floor....just feels better with some weight since I also have stronger rear springs.

The first time we got cold enough temps to freeze with a bit of white stuff from the sky, my electro traction nannys tried to kill me. No thanks.
And I'm running a good 500+ lbs on the truck over stock weight.

Yeah I'm a stock 5 lug access cab, no extra weight other than the burgers in mah belly. That's why I added the sandbags. :fingerscrossed:

Be careful, I know the struggle.
My problem is running mud tires when I know better

I kept the stock tires in the bed under the tonneau from when I upgraded to Duratracs. About 150 lbs for traction, it's a tight fit so no sliding around

Who makes the lowest profile front plate bumper for 2nd gens? I've always hated the way they looked but lately they have grown on me. Still really not sure if I even want to drop that kind of money on one. Right now I'm still stock enough that I don't feel like a mall crawler yet. :anonymous:

Pizza time. Not exactly for the taco for now LOL. I just got these on the 40. And will work on the clutch Slave and master in the next few days to take it out as soon as we get some decent snow
