265/75/16 on stock wheels or 265/70/17 if I get new wheels. Depends on my bonus. I'd be tempted to go to 285's but don't want to have to do cab cmc. Plus I only plan on leveling with 5100s for now and not sure 33's would look good.

I'm also concerned about going too big as I already feel like the truck is underpowered, and don't plan on any power adders.

    What size are you running?

EDIT: Dammit! Now I'm looking at 285's.

After doing some reading and price checking, 285's285's are back off the table.

265/75/16 and 70/17 are almost identical size, so I don't expect any issues. Pretty much just adds an inch to the stock size (265/70/16)

Really liking these pro comp 7005's. Light and cheap! I can even see what they'll look like. Can't wait to see the real thing!

Had to edit as I had typed in the sizes wrong

So far 36 people are going. Still waiting on my family members (Brewers fans) to pay. Probably close to 50 going.
We meet up in Caledonia,Wisconsin off I-94 (probably HwyG & 94 Fireworks shop) and mark all the vehicles so we can stay in line on the trek to Miller Park!
We meet up at 1:45 and head to the stadium at 2:00 pm. We get there early to the staging area and then head in as a group when the parking gates open at 3pm. Tailgating is open for 3hrs . Game starts @ 6pm. We have families with kids, seniors, and middle aged people. It’s always a good time!

Bring grills, chairs, tables, food and BEER!

Shenanigans and good times are a given!

Met up with a group in Northern IL today to play in the mud. Conditions were challenging to say the least, but had great fun. I learned a lot too. 46634232_1198292026978867_3919874942908235776_o.jpg

    How far away is this?

I'm in Milwaukee and have researched nearby trails but have not found anything in short driving distance.

It was an off-road park in McHenry. It's called River Road Rally Park. Nothing too special or big, just a couple hours worth of monkeying around. First time I was there and first time to an off-road park.

I don’t have a locker, winch, flag mount and riding the original Trd sport highway tires with 45k miles. I’m in on a group trek there in spring of 2019. Who wants to drag me out of the mid pit?

Guess I need to remove the Trd sport chin strap (bumper air dam), buy a rear bumper hook, install a quick connector for flag. Oh, and buy a flag. I will also need to borrow the tow straps from work that we used to move the Haas machine. If it can move that sum of a bitch , my truck should be a breeze!

There's more to it than that one mud puddle. In fact they filled that in and now the whole bowl is a bit of a mud pit. There's a few obstacles you can drive and some rock gardens. There's several steep hills you can attempt and even a balance bridge you can try. There's also a narrow woodland trail you can drive that included a few mud pits and challenging climbs. The group I was with was mostly 4Runners, a couple of Tacos and an FJ. 20181124_183205.jpg 20181124_183129.jpg 20181124_115224.jpg 20181124_183008.jpg

Cool This sounds a lot closer than either of the two other parks.

My 2017 trd sport has no locker. I’m in 4wd high it’s spinning in posi. It’s gripping and jerking turning at 5mph. . It’s almost like bouncy in a tight turn. I’ve driven in it in 4wd and never has this issue. Any ideas. It has part time 4wd high and low

Yep. Used it all the way to work this morning.. on my block earlier today, it just won’t drive. I can let my foot off the brake and it won’t move.i give it gas and it’ll creep. I engage it Once a month I’ll engage it just to see if it works. Never had that issue. Also mines the sport and not the off-road with lockers .. 44,000 miles and it’s not even 2 yrs since new

    1) It's only doing this in 4hi?
    2) Can you take it out of 4wd?
    3) Have you used your parking brake recently?

The problem goes away when you take it out of 4wd?

You were driving straight (not making a turn) in 4hi when you observed the problem?

    It drives fine in 2wd

I’ve had in 4wd on dry pavement several times. It’s never felt like it’s slipping. Almost felt like it’s partially locked in less than 1/4 tire rotation.Hard to describe

Hmmm. That eliminates parking brake sticking.

Maybe 4hi didn't fully engage or something simple like that. I'd go exercise your transfer case a few times and drive in 4hi forward and reverse and see if the problem persists
