Question about Cheap and easy DTRL

I did the DTRL mod shown by piercedtiger and I really like it but it turns on the dimmer part of the bulb rather than the darker which comes on for turn signal and emergency blinker use. Is their a bulb that only has one brightness that i can change out with my old one? Reason being is because it looks great when I'm driving during dusk or dawn but in the day time its not as bright as some of the other taco's (and sometimes doesnt even look like its on) i see driving around that have done the mod a different way to get the darker part of the bulb to light up.
