Lets rock some trails! Already have some tracks planned for Turkey Day weekend! Ill should be rolling with the State48overland crew that weekend too! These dudes are B.A.!

I did FR220/ Richmonds Basin, basically Globe this weekend....ya...fucking scary as hell...its a horse/atv/UTV trail...not made for Taco's at all...slight body damage, 3-4 frame hits, 1 bad LCA hit, pin striped to hell but thats it....good lines and great spotter go along way...this trail is rated around a 7-8 difficult...never again! HA!!!

 

While that sounds awesome, I’d like to not damage my daily driver that I am still making payments on lol

I definitely dont mean that trail again! EVER! Didnt want to be there myself....I was trusting a buddy who had been out there before..he's clearly a good guy but an idiot for getting us lost and almost destroying my 5 month old "gloria."

We normally do way easier stuff!

 

I live 5 minutes from mcfate and I like beer. Would really like to do some sort of group run sometime!

 

Depending on the night and weekend, I am down....got kids...ha! I agree a group run would be cool! Let me know!

 

Yea that’s what I’d like to see happen. Do like a weekly or biweekly or monthly meetup shoot the shit, drink some beers, get to know some new people and plan a run from time to time.

Get a group of guys with various levels of experience and set ups and just play it by ear.

I tend to travel a lot though that should be changing but I don’t know a whole lot about off roading or really know many people who do. I’d like to change that for sure. I bought this truck I wanna use it!

Either way I’d love to see a local group in the area get established

I'm up near McDowell mountain ranch but i like beer and food. Since the ankle has me on the DL I'm down for some meetups

Hey guys, sorry to butt in, but I'm new to the TW scene and pretty much the same boat as y'all (don't know much about off roading but wanting to change that). Anyways, AZ Overlanders is having a meet up on the 8th as an "Intro to OR". If you guys wanna join let me know.

 

What’s a AZ Overlander?

 

It's a meet up group for people who enjoy off roading and exploring what AZ has to offer. The 8th will be my first meet up with these guys and they seem pretty chill. The group is not exclusive to tacomas, but a few of us will be running them.

 

I think I wanna try putting something together for DECEMBER 17th at Mcfate brewery at Scottsdale and McDowell at 530 pm. Anyone down??

I was supposed to get up north this weekend to hang with some other TW members but the arb rear cubby install went a little longer then I thought and plans changed on Sunday... ARB Works like a champ though!

So.....only had Saturday afternoon. So I went and did Montana Mountain Trail with the @state48overland crew this Saturday who helped me install the arb! These guys are legit! It was sick as hell! Knarly switchbacks, definitely not a "green" anymore.. rains made this trail a lot more interesting!

Ill be 4x4ing, camping Dec. 8th if anyone wants to join in the fun! Always a good time and Ive been wheeling since the 90's....never gets old, only me!

I'm trying to head out around the 8th to camp too. Was thinking 4 peaks area or maybe bulldog canyon ohv if really cold at elevation
