I got it. I'm happy with it for the $$$ for sure. I was plinking a can in the backyard and already got the stink eye from a neighbor. He's a dick.

Anyway, thanks for the pellet gun.

Dude...that's a REAL GUN. I surely hope to god you're not anywhere near people or homes & such when you're shooting birds.

I have a .22 rimfire gun. The only place you'll see me shooting that is at the firing range and on legal hunting grounds. The only places it should be shot.

What about in the privacy of your crawl space where your neighbors can't hear it and you can only do it when your roommate isn't home cuz he doesn't know either and most likely wouldn't approve? Sure it leaves you virtually deaf but it sure is fun to plink under the house.

    Hypothetically speaking of course . . . . .

Just got mine in the mail today!

Great gun, just a few questions for OCTaco and SaltySteve:

    1) What are you/did you shoot out of this? I am shooting some crossman pointed tip hunting pellets, and they seem to dive really fast at about 50 ft.

    2) How powerful would you say it is Steve? I couldn't get mine to puncture the end of a soda can (Maybe it is because I am not shooting the right stuff through it...)

Either way, rep for a great seller and easy to work with.

    Thanks again OCTaco!

I picked up some .22 HP pellets from Walmart. I can't remember the brand. I've been shooting a can at about 30 feet it'll go through both side of the can no problem. When I miss it's been sticking in the wood fence pretty solid. I think my scope is a little jacked and my zero is wandering or something. I'm going to try to find a little cheapy to replace it with.

When you say end of a soda can you're talking about the bottom right? I haven't tried that yet but I will soon. I would imagine with pointed tip you should be able to pierce it no problem. Is yours a .22 also?

    Steve,
I was using .177 pellets so I think that might be the problem. I will go pick up some .22 ones tomorrow and see if that makes things better.

    Thanks for the advice,
    Kbx

22 calibers aren't going to fit in a 177. I've had this same gun for years, bought it at a pawn/gun shop for about what you guys paid for yours. Mine isn't accurate or powerful, might be worth 20 bucks. Was made in Shanghai. Pawn shop guy told me they were used as a Chinese army training rifle.

    Your Welcome.

I picked up my pelets from Big5 and was able to shoot through a can no problem. They were pointed and I cant remember the size of them. Also, try cleaning the barrel of the riffle, they were both sitting in my closet for a while. After a good cleaning, make sure you oil it up well and I'm sure that will help tremendously.

    A 17 would fit in a 22.

Where you able to pick up some .22 pellets kbx10? Do they fit? If you haven't gone to get some yet maybe you could measure your bore. Do you have access to calipers or a gage pin set?

.177 and .22 calibers don't interchange. Yeah, a 177 might fit in a 22, but your results will probably be less than satisfactory.

Dude. That's what we're saying. I think he has a .22 but was putting .177 in it and getting unsatisfactory results.
