Why should they get a shot at playing someone in the top 4?

 

They already got punished for their loss, by being dropped in the rankings. By improving and fighting back, and other teams losing, they have gotten their chance at it again. This is why early season losses aren't as bad as late season. It has ALWAYS been that way. Look at Bama, they had 2 years they proved they couldn't even beat Ole Piss and they made it to the playoffs, so Ole Piss was the best team that year?

Any team can beat any team any given day. Fact. How many chances it takes is what people don't know. Georgia/Alabama are getting their chance right now, winner stays, loser walks. Loser shouldn't get a chance at the winner again, unless a bunch of other teams lose too. It just makes no sense. Alabama will probably still get plugged in if they lose because the NCAA loves cock-gobbling Bama.

I under stand that your bitter about wvu pissing away what should have been your best season ever and ending up 4th in the big xii. I would say it will get better be we both know that isn't true.

 

Y'all are basically saying that when playoffs get here:

if #4 loses to #1
then it should just be a rematch between #4 and #1
because a loss to #1 is better than a loss to #2 or #3

 

The committee wants the 4 best teams.

The best teams typically have the best players/coaches.

Alabama has Saban and the top 2 recruiting classes for the last decade.

The committee has criteria to choose the 4 best teams. I provided those above. If you can provide an argument against the criteria THAT THE COMMITTEE set, other than "I think Bama is a better team" then go for it.

but until the committee changes their criteria and says they are just choosing who they feel are the best 4, then alabama getting in with a loss is wrong.
