Hot damn, I paid $424 shipped to my door and thought I stole them. How'd you get that price? Mine were 265-70-17s

265/75/16 when I used the eBay coupon about a month or so ago. I think that’s the cheapest price I’ve seen at 367.20 so if I unload them I should be able to get my money back. They went up right after I bought mine.

About once a month or so Ebay runs a 15 or 20% off coupon for part of a day, its worth the wait, got just about all the mods on my truck using those coupons.

I went with @Discount Tire Direct. They have excellent services and will match or beat any advertised price.

Went with stock size... 265/70R16. I like them a lot. Now I just have to sell the 500-mile takeoffs to recoup some of the cost.

After driving these things for a day, they definitely make more noise than the stocks... but they feel better in nearly every way so I'm going to just turn the radio up another notch.

Because 11 lbs. of unsprung weight (the difference between SL and E Wildpeaks in 265/75R16) can make a significant difference in both acceleration and gas mileage. If you don't need the extra tire strength, it's a waste.

    Some stuff
    Truth.

Ive wheeled with load C(SL) and E duratracs( Es, then Cs on a frontier, abd Es on a Quigley), E KO2s(Jeep), Dunlop MaxxTracion(3/4t cummins), etc.... on the same trails, I cut the sidewall on the KO2, not the SL duratrac.
Shredded a DuraTrac on some caliche roads in Texas.

Moral, while I am NOT rockcrawling, and 90%of people arent either.. I prefer a C range tire when an E isnt needed...
    Air down better, etc...
    Plus, all that extra weight.......

Because I lost 3-4 mpg as do most. They are heavy and add unnecessary stress to drivetrain, components, etc. Worse braking, rougher ride. And most mall crawlers here wont ever need a 10 ply tire. I went back to stock at 12k miles and so happy I did.

Good to know you experienced no loss in MPG. How about performance? These Trucks are pretty gutless as it is. Trying to decide between 265 70 16 or 265 75 16 on stock O R wheels.

Getting my 265/75/16 mounted on Wednesday. Driving in the snow the other day was not very comforting with nearly 30k on the stock wranglers.

I honestly cant tell a difference in anything but snow and poor weather performance. these are much better than stock. I am very happy with these tires and will likely get another set when its time.
