An acquaintance I knew once won around $80k in the local lottery. The family was on the low income side and constantly buying lottery tickets (go figure)

Went out and bought a Chevy Tahoe and spent $$$$ on a lift and blingy rims/tires.

When the tires wore out (rather quickly at that), he couldn't afford to replace them so it rode on slicks for a long time.

He ended up putting tiny Chinese tires on the blingy rims.

Combined with the lift, it looked comical.

The sad thing is that there are lots of these unsafe 6000+lb sleds running around on slicks for the same reason.

While the water pipe in the electrical box is a genuine WTF, I am curious as to what the huge blob is above the circuit panel with all the wires in it.

I don't know what's worse - the pipe run through the electrical block or the giant spray foam glob where all the wires run together.

Holy hell, this is better than the light switch in the shower.

 

After Hurricane Harvey I worked in south Texas helping FEMA assess vacant lots in mobile home parks. Most of the parks we were assessing had to redo their electrical after the flooding. A lot of the smaller parks just used their on-staff handyman rather than hiring an actual electrician. I don't know that we saw anything quite this bad but there was a lot that wasn't much better. We turned down a lot of spots for unsafe electrical.
